So begins our second full day on the Kona coast of the big island, Hawaii. We arrived Friday after a three hour drive from the other side. The ride over the centre of the island was spectacular.

Yesterday, we spent some time snorkling at two of the famous spots on this coast. First we visited Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park, the site of Captain Cook’s death. Ben and Josée snorkled there while Cynthia and I enjoyed the surroundings. We then moved on to Two-Step Bay where the snorkling was terrific and we all participated.

Finally, after a long day in the salt air and the sunshine we headed home for our evening meal. I’ve included some pics of our place north of Kona.

Goodbye for now and God bless.
