Since last Saturday and over the past weekend to Wednesday, we were camped at Naka Creek which is north of where we live on Vancouver Island. It took us about 3 1/4 hours of driving time to get there, with 1 1/4 hours of that done on logging roads. For those of you outside of Canada, the logging trucks have right of way on their roads. Fortunately we didn’t meet one coming our way. If you’d like to see a clip of some active trucks, watch below. It’s long so you might just want to watch part. (video credits to Tim Twichell)
Our camping trip was blessed with good weather, a lovely site, great people and fab food (thanks especially to GJo but also to Andi and Cynthia). We even saw a humpback whale or possibly it was a Minke. I think pictures, and there are lots of them below, can do a far better job than I could to show the beauty of this place. We are so blessed to live where we do.
Goodbye for now and God bless.
