Final Flight

On June 12th we spread two thirds of Cynthia’s ashes over a pre-marked point on the Comox Glacier.

My friend Chris scattered them after leaving his hangar at the Comox Airpark.

The ashes were scattered from a home made dispenser attached to the wing tip of his beautiful self built plane. Here’s a video Chris made for our family which explains the occasion.

I can’t thank Chris enough for coming up with the original idea and for carrying out this operation so skillfully and sensitively.

For those of you having already seen this on Facebook I apologize. This post is done for others not using FB.

In case you are wondering about the remaining one third of the ashes, I will take them to Wales in the future to scatter them on the hills near her home.

‘Bye for now and God bless.
